Recap since last Medium article and looking to 2022
In case you missed it, here’s what has been going on since our last Medium article.
Starting in early June 2021, LeoCuvée#1481 moved servers to a new data center successfully. Way to go with that!
Soon afterwards the DeroGold mining contest started. This was a contest to see who could mine DeroGold with a device and achieve the lowest hashrate at full mining power of said device. We allowed up to 8 weeks for people to submit their devices to the contest and allowed multiple entries.
In the meantime, problems came to a head with Finexbox and we asked to be delisted for the sake of our community. Shortly after our intent to be delisted was declared, we decided to go and secure a listing on Cratex.io exchange.
About a month after that, the mining contest concluded. We paid entrants 5 million DeroGold coins just for entering, and awarded 1 billion coins as the grand prize. Here’s the video detailing it: https://youtu.be/g992xVBZcKA
Later on we decided DeroGold should be on another new exchange, that exchange being our Exbitron.com listing.
